Meet the Collective: Dayna Lynn

Dayna joined The EdgE in October 2025, and quite honestly, she's the kind of person every agency hopes to find.

She's the first to put her hand up for a project, a task, or an idea, and somehow manages to make all of us feel a little more excited about whatever we're working on. After years in the skydiving industry, including time at Skydive Dubai, Dayna joined The EdgE with a wealth of experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuinely brilliant attitude. She's quickly become one of those people we're incredibly grateful found their way onto our team.

An exceptional copywriter, self-confessed multitasker, cat lady, mountain lover, and spreadsheet enthusiast, Dayna somehow balances organized efficiency with a brain that's constantly chasing new ideas. She's the kind of person who can spend an afternoon building the perfect Google Sheet and an evening planning life in a van somewhere in the Alps.

Let's get into it.

If your work style had a tagline, what would it be?

"SQUIRREL!"

Just kidding. It's more like: Let's see if I can keep my brain in line today.

I love to multitask, and sometimes I genuinely struggle to focus on just one thing. I end up picking up a million little side projects and accidentally creating more work for myself as the day goes on.

What's a weird tool or app you swear by that no one else seems to use?

The iPhone Reminders app.

I'd be completely lost without it. It keeps me on track and frees up brain space as my to-do list grows.

Also, Endel. It's an app that uses binaural beats, and their Deep Focus mode helps me get an incredible amount done in a short period of time.

What's your "I can't start the day without this" work ritual?

Coffee.

I only drink decaf, but I genuinely can't function without it. If I'm feeling overwhelmed during the day, I'll often make a second one. It's my little moment of peace and a chance to reset.

When do you feel most in the zone creatively?

Apparently, I'm Thomas Edison.

He used to nap holding a steel ball so that when he started falling asleep, it would drop and wake him up, allowing him to capture his ideas.

That's basically me.

The second I'm about to fall asleep, my brain suddenly comes alive with all its best ideas. If I don't get up and write them down immediately, they're gone by morning.

Dog person, cat person?

How is this even a question?

Crazy cat lady. 🐱

What's your irrational but harmless pet peeve?

I have too many to count.

If I had to choose one, it's sand.

I love the idea of walks on the beach. The reality of sand stuck to my feet afterward? Absolutely not.

What's the most unusual place you've worked from?

I guess now I can say a war zone.

Before that, it would've been the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix for this job, or an incredible climbing gym in France with great IPAs and free Wi-Fi for my other one.

What's a totally unrelated hobby or talent that somehow makes you better at your job?

I'm a complete Google Sheets nerd.

It used to be Excel, but honestly, Google Sheets wins.

It's a weird hobby, but it helps me stay organized, efficient, and keeps all the moving pieces in my brain from escaping.

You're working remotely for a month. Where are you and what's your setup?

Somewhere in the mountains.

The Dolomites, the Swiss Alps, the French Alps... I'm not picky.

Van life with my husband, sunrise hikes, turquoise lakes, fresh air, and rivers you can actually drink from.

I'd spend the afternoons working lakeside, and finish each day with an aperitivo, rösti, and a few summer waters (Aperol Spritz, obviously).

Now I can't wait for summer again.

What's the best compliment you've ever gotten that wasn't about your work?

Either when my husband told me I was fun, because I genuinely consider myself quite boring...

Or when a friend described me as:

"A magical unicorn that adds sparkles to every aspect of life."

Honestly, I'll take both.
