Meet the Collective: Hannah Parker
Hannah’s been with The EdgE since we set up shop in the US, and we haven’t stopped laughing (or learning) since. She’s equal parts data wizard and creative mind, with a soft spot for owls, cold swims, and building content castles one brick at a time.

Here’s a peek inside the brain of one of our favourite humans to work with:
If your work style had a tagline, what would it be?
Know when to wing it, know when to plan for it.
Any weird tools or apps you swear by?
Daily I use a little app called Finch. It’s basically a Tamagotchi bird that gives me bonuses on my daily habits and encourages me to complete my to-do lists. I can’t explain it, but it works, mostly because I feel like the bird judges me when I slack off. If, like me, you struggle with routine, I would highly recommend it, and it's free.
Explain your job to a 6-year-old:
I help build really cool Lego castles, but instead of bricks, I use words and pictures. I also make sure everyone has the right pieces and isn’t trying to build a spaceship when we’re making a dragon.
What’s one thing you wish clients knew about good content?
It’s not just about saying what you want. It’s about creating something your audience resonates with. If it doesn’t connect, it doesn’t matter..
What’s your can’t-start-the-day-without-it ritual?
Cold swim. Coffee. Peanut butter, banana, and sriracha on toast. (Yes, really.)
When do you feel most in the zone creatively?
After a swim. After a walk. Or randomly at 2am when I should be asleep.
Creative hill you’ll die on?
Authenticity or bust. If it sounds like everyone else, no one will remember it.
Dog person, cat person, or something more chaotic?
Something more chaotic, as I am absolutely an owl person, which is great considering the account I currently write for! I do have a soft spot for pigeons, as I recently started to feed them on my balcony. The results of someone desperately looking for nature and living in a city!
Harmless but irrational pet peeve?
Messages that just say “Hi Hannah” and then… nothing. No context, no ask, just digital purgatory.
Weirdest place you’ve worked from?
Underneath the pyramids in Giza!
Unexpected skill that makes her better at her job?
Working in a call centre as a teenager gave me thick skin, a great phone voice, and eternal appreciation for kind clients.
Remote dream setup?
In the mountains, near a lake, with a solar charger, good coffee, and a solid 5G signal. There’s an owl overhead and a dog I haven’t adopted yet snoring next to me. I live in a city now, but nature is still where I do my best thinking.
Best non-work compliment?
Being told I’m a good skydive coach, or even a role model, always stops me in my tracks. I never thought I’d have the patience to teach or be someone people look up to.
Want to work with Hannah?
You’ll find her deep in our content docs or feeding pigeons somewhere in Europe. Either way, she’s a reminder that strategy and storytelling don’t have to be boring, and work doesn’t have to feel like work.
