Meet the Collective: Sara Munck

Sara has been with us since October ’25, and honestly, she’s one of those people you don’t quite know how you managed without.

A gem of a social media manager, she brings instinct, edge, and a perspective that doesn’t just follow trends, it quietly sidesteps them. She’s also usually somewhere more interesting than the rest of us, and yes, we are absolutely stalking her adventures.

From van life (in a recently converted Amazon van), BASE jumping, and hanging out with her cat, to creative opinions we fully back, Sara has been a real asset to the team and exactly the kind of energy we want in the Collective.

Let’s get into it.

If your work style had a tagline, what would it be?
Works best under pressure.

What’s a weird tool or app you swear by that no one else seems to use?
Completely non-work-related: a dried mango pit. It makes the best cast iron pan scrubber. Fully biodegradable, and the only cost is eating a delicious mango first.

What’s one thing you wish clients knew about good content?
The internet is already full of pretty things. What people actually want is the raw, behind-the-scenes look at your unique product, service, or perspective.

What’s your “I can’t start the day without this” work ritual?
Black coffee and a baked good. Preferably a croissant or donut.

What’s a hill you’ll creatively die on?
The coolest thing is whatever everyone else is not doing. People get bored of the same fonts and color palettes. The best way to grab attention is to be bold and try something different.

Dog person, cat person?
Animal person. I grew up on a farm and have always felt an affinity for animals. The dream is to retire with a rescued-animal farm and a food forest.

What’s your irrational but harmless pet peeve?
When someone puts a new toilet paper roll next to the holder instead of on it.

You’re working remotely for a month, where are you and what’s your setup?
Baja California Sur, Mexico. Working from a van on the beach with her cat, Ricky. Surfing daily with her partner, Rusty. Tacos and margaritas with locals to wrap the day.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever gotten that wasn’t about your work?
A friend once told her that returning to their home drop zone felt like the first flower of spring. Still the most thoughtful and creative compliment she’s received.
